Sherrif Hemlock - Militia Captain of Highbarrow

Belor Hemlock is a retired Captain who served Aundair faithfully during the war. He is in his mid 40s and bears the scars of war with Pride, though he never talks of his experiences, nor of the things he did.

Hemlock is a 3rd level fighter with the following feats: (h) Power attack, (1) cleave, (1) WF short spear, (2)Improved initiative, (2f)shield specilisation (heavy), (3) Combat reflexes

He uses a short spear (+1) and carries a battered looking heavy steel shield (Masterwork). He wears chain armour.

Standing 6ft, he is an imposing sight around Highbarrow and the local area. He commands 5 militia guards including the out of place Gnome Cyrus. These guards travel in pairs and cover the roads into and out of Highbarrow out to about 2.5miles (northwards they patrol the road between the Sanctuary and the village, Southwards about halfway to an old fortified mansion, now left mostly to ruin), whilst westwards they cover the 2 miles or so of farmsteads. Eastwards the trees of the Eldeen creep in very quickly once you travel no more than 1/2 a mile. The guards rarely venture into the forest.

Usually two guards remain in town, the other two pairs travel the roads about the area.
