Alexandra "Alex" ir'Venn

Alex is a crusader of the Silver flame and veteran of the last war. Although only 25 she spent 3 years serving both Thrane, and subsequently the Silver Flame in a number of raids and battles against both Aundair, Breland and Karnath. As a Silver Flame devotee she concentrated on fighting abominations, undead and other creatures of the dark who were deemed to be against the edicts of the flame.

Alex was given command of a small company. However unbeknownst to her one of the number was a Karnathi traitor and she allowed herself to be steered into a major ambush which wiped out several notable paladins, some of whom returned later as Karnathi Zombies and Skeletons. Although not blamed by her superiors, she spiralled into depression and put herself in harms way continually. Surviving the war she left on a mission of redemption arriving at the small town in the Eldeen reaches where she befriended a number of other adventurers and fought back several incursions of Abberations and Undead. Alex has been at the town for almost 18 months and awaits a sign from the Flame that she has purged the blame from her heart.

She stands at 5ft 10inches, favouring shield and battleaxe, breastplate (or plate) and a full faced 'greek' style helm. Her voice is clarion strong and inspires those around her in battle. A born leader on the battle field she is reticant to lead a group off it, defering to others to make the hard choices. Kindly to those in need, willing to spare the life of enemies where she believes their soul can be turned ot the greater good (thus powering the Silver Flame).
